On Friday, June 1, 16 CDL volunteers headed to Boca Raton to lay sod and clear debris for Place of Hope's new foster care campus. The event is part of CDL's long-standing commitment to volunteer, sponsor and give back to non-profit organizations in Palm Beach County and Martin County.

Congratulations to CDL's Rick Hoagland for joining the Board of Directors of the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center in Jupiter! Rick will join 11 other board members in guiding the Center as it provides a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk children in the Jupiter area. Good luck Rick in your new board role!

CDL would like to recognize Gary Mann for recently receiving his CPA license. Gary has been with the Firm since August 2013 and works in the Audit Department. Congratulations Gary!

On Thursday, May 17, Team CDL cycled in the American Heart Association's CycleNation event at the CycleBar in Palm Beach Gardens. CDL was among seven other sponsors to the event. Team CDL cyclists rode for thirty-minute increments to raise awareness about the importance of exercise and heart healthiness.

CDL's Rick Hoagland was nominated as a new member of the Martin County Bar Association on Friday, May 11. The event took place at the Bar Association's monthly luncheon at the Kane Center in Stuart. Next to Rick from l. to r. - attorneys Jody Foster and Kristen Bishop.

CDL is NUMBER ONE! Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation in New York announced that CDL is the number one fundraising team in the United States for their annual charity walk. Team CDL raised $81,293 for Crohn’s & Colitis South Florida Chapter’s Take Steps West Palm Beach. The walk was held in November of last year at CityPlace in West Palm Beach. Team CDL beat out teams from Los Angeles ($56,152), Liberty State Park, NJ ($54,610), Fairfield Westchester, CT ($53,673) and New York City ($44,259). The designation as “NUMBER ONE” adds to CDL’s previous achievements, where they were also named number one in years 2015 and 2016. GO TEAM CDL!
