Women and children who witness domestic violence on a regular basis are at risk for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Depression and much more. * * Some of the CityHouse resident's have been affected by domestic violence. Although they have been bruised, they are not broken. Through CityHouse, we are working hard to empower our women and children by helping to create a better environment for a better future. We are inviting everyone to speak up and to spark change by using the hashtag #speakup on Instagram. * * If you or someone you know needs help, know that you are not alone and call 1−800−799−7233.
Did you know that we currently have six families living at CityHouse? With your help, we are working towards breaking the cycles of poverty and assisting these families to independence. Although CityHouse is instilling life-changing skills, values, and character into the women we serve, we need your help to make our efforts go even further! There are many ways that we can partner together to bring hope & renewal to homeless single mothers and their children. If you are interested, please contact us at (561) 303-3940.
Did you know swapping clothes is a great way to help the environment? It reduces our impact on the clothing footprint and allows clothes to last longer. You bring items that you would like to let go of and in turn take home new to you items! At swaps, you can find anything from basics, to one of a kind gems that you wouldn't have normally picked up at a store. We would love to have you join us for our next Clothing Swap on November 10th from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the New Generation Montessori in Delray Beach! A $10 donation is requested for every 5 items of clothing you choose! If you have any questions, reach out to Ashley at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see you there!
