Florida Public Utilities teamed up earlier this week with AutoPort to participate in the vendor expo of the 2018 Florida Association of Governmental Fleet Administrators 40th annual convention. Several hundred administrators from around the Sunshine State attended the three day event that was held at the TradeWinds Resort in St. Petersburg. FPU’s Tom Snellgrove, Autogas Specialist, was on site, promoting the Sharp Autogas initiative.

FPU's linemen and crew leaders from our Northwest and Northeast division left yesterday morning to North Carolina to assist with anticipated restoration efforts due to #HurricaneFlorence. We hope our linemen, friends and business associates in the Carolinas stay safe as they endure the aftermath of this storm. It is FPU’s privilege to support our neighbors. http://www.fpuc.com/florida-public-utilities-linemen-mobilizing-in-anticipation-of-hurricane-florence/

ATTENTION MARIANNA CUSTOMERS: Due to severe thunder storms, high winds and trees down on power lines - multiple areas throughout Jackson County are experiencing service interruptions. We are aware of the outages and our crews are currently working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. ***Remember if you discover a downed electric wire or power line, assume it is energized (and therefore dangerous) and stay as far away as possible. NEVER TOUCH a downed power line or any telephone cable wires in close proximity. Thank you for your patience and we will continue to keep you updated.
