St. Paul's clergy were honored to join other clergy from local Jewish, Christian, and Muslim congregations and Mayor Petrolia for a special prayer service at Temple Sinai to remember those who were murdered at Tree of Life synagogue and pray for an end to hate, bigotry, and gun violence. We thank Rabbi Aviva Bass and the good people of Temple Sinai for hosting this inspiring service.
A Special Interfaith Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, October 30th at 7:30 pm at Temple Sinai in response to the shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. Holy Land Pilgrimage Day 9 - Passing through Herod's Gate, we started the day with worship at the Church of the Flagellation (the beginning of the Via Dolorosa); then walked and prayed the Stations of the Cross culminating with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre; after lunch we visited Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum).
