Many have come since the Delray Beach Playhouse first opened its doors 69 years ago. Today, the Playhouse is stronger and more exciting than ever, boasting thousands of members, hundreds of actors and volunteers bringing live theatre for all ages.
Many more will come this 2015-2016 season to the playhouse, nestled in a park on beautiful Lake Ida. They'll come for the Broadway Plays, for Musical Memories, for interactive Studio Theatre, for Words...Alive, for Boxer Shorts, and for the Children's Theatre productions, classes and camps.

"The 1940's Radio Hour" Meet... ALEXA HINTON (Connie Miller) is extremely excited to play in 1940’s RADIO HOUR. She just appeared in the Delray Beach Playhouse’s season opener, A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED and has previously performed in shows including SHE KILLS MONSTERS, LEND ME A TENOR and ALMOST MAINE. She is currently a high school senior at G-Star School of the Arts and hopes you all have as incredible of a time watching the show as she did performing it. The songs will be stuck in your heads for weeks!

"The 1940's Radio Hour" Cast Meet.... COLE RUSIN (B.J) is very excited to be a part of his first production at The Delray Beach Playhouse. He is a Junior that is currently studying Theatre at G-Star School of the Arts. He would like to thank all of his friends and family for their continued love and support for the arts. He hopes to continue pursuing his passion for the arts and is appreciative for all the opportunities he has been given.

"The 1940's Radio Hour" Cast! Meet... DIANE TYMINSKI (Ann Collier) is looking forward to another great season at the DBP working with this lovely cast of talented people. Past performances at DBP include THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG; I DO, I DO; I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE; AND THE WORLD GOES ROUND; and a Musical Memories Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch. She and her husband Jim will be performing with Rich and Jill Switzer from Legends Radio for the NYE show this year

"The 1940's Radio Hour" MEET... KAYLEE COOPER (Geneva Lee) is a former Playhouse student for the Children’s Theatre program. Her previous THE PAJAMA GAME, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, ETHEL WATERS:HIS EYE ON THE SPARROW and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN. Kaylee is thrilled to be working with so many talented performers & tech crew members.

Jerry Herman's "Showtune" AUDITIONS begin tonight, December 5th and 6th, at 7:30pm in the Children's Theatre! --- No single composer in the American Musical Theatre has given Broadway audiences more pleasure in the past 60 years than Jerry Herman. "The 1940's Radio Hour" Cast! MEET... SPENSYR BACH (Ginger Brooks) has been performing as a singer/actress for the last 20+ years! DBP credits: ANNIE GET YOUR GUN (Dolly) & AND THE WORLD GOES ROUND (Woman 3). When she's not performing, she's an attorney practicing entertainment & intellectual property law in Boca.
