Your Delray Chamber at Work
Giving Our Community a Seat at the Table
We were proud to help bring the community together for a Candidates Forum ahead of the City Commission Seat 2 race, featuring candidates Andrea Keiser, Judy Mollica, and Delores Rangel.
Moderated by Michael Weiner of Sachs, Sax and Caplan, the forum gave residents a real opportunity to hear directly from the candidates on the issues that matter most — affordability, housing, insurance, taxes, economic development, workforce and jobs, infrastructure, disaster preparedness, education, and more. With Friends of Delray livestreaming the event, anyone who couldn’t attend in person still had access.
This is what civic engagement looks like. Not a debate, but a conversation — one where candidates could share their vision and our community could listen, learn, and make informed decisions at the polls.
YMCA Inspiration Breakfast
Three of our own, Carolina, Sarah, and Judy, attended the 24th Annual YMCA of South Palm Beach County Inspiration Breakfast at the Peter Blum Family YMCA in Boca. This year’s keynote speaker was John O’Leary — a two-time bestselling author, burn survivor, and the man behind the 2025 film Soul on Fire — who shared a powerful message about resilience and what’s possible when you refuse to give up.
Events like this remind us why we do what we do. The Y has been a cornerstone of this community for over 50 years, and showing up to support their mission — and coming home a little more motivated — is exactly the kind of community investment we’re here for.
Bringing It Home at Our Own Membership Breakfast
We wrapped up February at our 2026 Spring Membership Breakfast at Aloft Delray Beach. Ryan Minton, author of Thanks for Coming in Today, had the room engaged with his insights on building workplace cultures where employees actually thrive and customer service isn’t an afterthought — it’s a priority.
Networking, ideas, and a great conversation with our members. That’s what the Chamber is for.
Your Chamber staff is plugged into this community. We’re proud to serve Delray Beach, and we’re not slowing down.
