Dig Into a Delray Tradition at Star Spangled Sandcastles
Grab your buckets, shovels, and imagination because one of Delray Beach’s favorite Fourth of July traditions is back.
The Star Spangled Sandcastles competition invites families, nonprofits, businesses, and groups of friends to create incredible sand sculptures along our beautiful beach. Whether you’re building an American flag, a sea turtle, or the sandcastle of your dreams, the only limit is your creativity.
Even better, every castle helps support Beach Keepers and their mission to preserve our shoreline.

Brunch Like You’re on Vacation at Throw Social

Step Back in Time at the Delray Beach Historical Society
Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary by exploring Delray Beach’s rich history. From June 30 through July 3, the Delray Beach Historical Society is opening its archives to showcase some of the city’s oldest and rarest artifacts. Then, continue the celebration on July 4 at 6:00 PM with a live reading of the Declaration of Independence by local citizens, students, and historians at East Atlantic Avenue and A1A, just before the annual Flag Raising Ceremony. It’s a meaningful way to honor both our nation’s history and the local stories that helped shape Delray Beach.
