Soil & Soul, a Palm Beach County nonprofit dedicated to growing the wellbeing of people, place, and planet, invites families and neighbors to celebrate the Fall Equinox with a morning of connection, joy, and remembrance.

Professional family portraits will be offered to the first 20 families by local photographer Mermaid & Me Photo, providing a memorable way to mark this new season with togetherness and gratitude. This community event is designed to attune families to each other and to the new season, aligning with the balance of light and dark that is the fall equinox.

The Fall Equinox Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Hive located at 34 SW 5th Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444. The Hive is a new nature space being developed by the West Atlantic Redevelopment Coalition and Soil & Soul.

Along with the portraits, families can enjoy:

·       Mindfulness activities 

·       Nature play and crafts for children 

·       Local health-food and drink vendors sharing eco-conscious offerings

·       Refreshments and community connection under the mango trees

Soil & Soul believes in the power of nature and in the strength of community to heal what ails us as a city and as a society. This fall equinox gathering is both a celebration of the families who make our community thrive, and a gift back to them as well.
