Star Spangled Sandcastles

Celebrate Independence Day with creativity, community, and a little friendly competition at the Star Spangled Sandcastles event in Delray Beach.

Join us on July 4th, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM (with judging at 11:00 AM) on the beach along Atlantic Avenue, just behind the pavilion. This festive sand-sculpture contest invites participants of all ages and skill levels to build their best creations, from castles and animals to imaginative scenes.

Whether you’re a family, nonprofit group, or a team of friends or coworkers, everyone is welcome to dig in and show off their star-spangled creativity. Entry fees are $25 for families and nonprofits and $50 for corporate or friend groups, with exciting prizes awarded to standout designs.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Beach Keepers, supporting efforts to preserve and protect our local shoreline.
